The purpose of We Matter is to raise the consciousness of people to the atrocities that have taken place in the black community with the police.  The continuous murder of black people at the hands of cops has become an international phenomenon. Too many people are oblivious to the struggles of black people in this country and the rest of the world.  The injustice that we have faced as a race in this country also influences the attitude of white people toward black people. We have to make the world aware that our existence matters, because we are great contributors to the world and humankind.  Civilization started in Africa, and we must not allow our children to forget that. African unity should not be threatening to white imperialism. America should not use “The Melting Pot” only as a slogan to the world, to sell this country as the land of opportunity for all. In order for us to truly become a melting pot, we must root out injustice, and erase ignorance from the minds of those people who feel threatened by the presence of black people in this country.

We aim to fund many community programs, as 10% of our gross sales will be appropriated to help financially assist educational grassroots programs in the community.
